Born in Mercedes, Texas, Mary Anne has lived in Georgia most of her life. A lifelong fan of authors such as Agatha Christie, Anne Perry, Caroline Graham, and Elizabeth Peters, it wasn’t until a few years ago that Mary Anne listened to the voices in her head and wrote her own series of traditional mysteries featuring Detective Charlie McClung.

Mary Anne is working on book nine, Somewhere Under Heaven, and a cookbook inspired by the series.

I loved Fern, one of the two protagonists. The storyline was interesting and I was hooked from the start. It goes to show that there are two sides to every story. Well, sometimes one side is not so true.

Mary Edwards No. I am not a member of RWA. I don't like driving at night. And I don't know if my genre would be considered romance. Genre is a murky thing for me. I really don't know where I fit in.
